This small sun room extension forms the first phase of a series of interventions to a Grade B listed villa in Dowanhill, Glasgow which was originally built in 1862.

The handcrafted timber, arched windows are modelled on an archive photograph found of an original conservatory in the same location. A sliding hardwood louvred screen allows the room to have varying degrees of privacy to the rear garden and shared courtyard.
